1a. You may need to install the C++ redistributeable from microsoft | Download |
1b. Download the binary package. This includes E3Next and MQNext prebuilt + configured.. |
Download |
2. Find the zip file in your downloads folder
3. Extract the data from the zip
4. Move the folder to where it makes sense on your system.
5. If you have existing bot inis from another e3Next install, navigate and place your bot inis in the E3 Bot Inis folder. NOTE!!!! Your bot inis must match the naming below. "CharacterName_ServerShortName.ini" Laz is special so its "CharacterName_Lazarus.ini" If you do not already have any bot inis, they will be created automatically later when e3Next starts. DO NOT put your bot inis in the class subfolders, those are example inis only. |
|
6.If importing config files from E3 Legacy, do this *one* at a time. The file will be reformatted by E3Next and if you have a bogus ini file, it will cause E3Next load to crash with an error message saying what part is broken. |
|
7.If an error is found, correct said error and issue these statements. /shutdown /mono e3. |
|
8.Its a good idea to to an update on your first startup to make sure you are on the latest. To do this open up the E3UI via /e3ui and then click CheckUpdates. After update issue /shutdown /mono e3. |
