CVM-S4 is a rule-based velocity model with an GTL that is on by default. It is not considered standard practice to add the elygtl to this model, but these plots show the effects if it is added. The primary reason it might be added is to reduce the high GTL values outside the CVM-S4 GTL region
The vertical profile plotted below is at location USC:
- LAT=34.0224
- LON=-118.2851
- STEP=1
- START_depth=0
- END_depth=1000
The second plot is for a point near Ridgecrest, outside the CVM-S4 GTL region.
- LAT=35.5
- LON=-117.5
