How to generate a transfer code?

What is a transfer code?

It's a unique code that lets you transfer your game account from a device to another device.

Why should I generate a transfer code?

You should always have a valid transfer code in case you lose or break your device. You also need a transfer code to give your account to someone else.

Note that you can also link your account to Google+ or Game Center, which will allow you to transfer your account as well, but not to someone else.

Where can I store my transfer code?

School Idol Tomodachi helps you store your transfer code. To do so, go to your profile, scroll to your account and click "Save your transfer code". Your transfer code will only be visible to you and no one else.

If you're not comfortable storing it there, you can also store it in Dropbox, Google Drive or any other cloud service. You may also keep it in a local storage (computer, phone) or have it on paper (in your wallet for instance).

Will it be valid forever?

Transfer codes are only valid once. If you just used a transfer code, don't forget to generate a new one right away!

How to generate a transfer code?

• Open the game
• Go to "Other" (その他) then "Settings" (各種設定)

• First tab "Account" (アカウント), use the button "Issue" (発行)

• English version: tap "OK" to get your code

• Japanese version: the code will be visible right away. To close the window, click the blue button. If you click the pink one, it will generate a new code and the previous one will be invalid!
