Describe the solution you'd like
We currently need the << >> notation for all Helm charts. However, since we always want to replace the version field of a Helm chart (clusterclass and cluster addon helm charts), we do not necessarily have to rely on this notation. It should be clear where to put ClusterClassVersion and ClusterAddonVersion.
Implementation details
- Find a solution to replace the version easily. What is the default the user sets in the Helm chart?
- Implement the templating
- What about multi-stage cluster addons?
