Localize Categories

Youtube's category system is a bit complicated, some categories are not available everywhere and the internal category IDs differs to. A category ID may represent one category in one country but represent another category in another country. For that reason is this window required. As a reward for your pain to do this you can get the category names in any language of your choice (as long as Youtube has a translation for that language).

Language Code: This is the two character short version of the language you want the categories to be displayed in. The button to the right on this row opens a long list of languages and the codes for them.

Country Code: This is the two character short version of the country you are uploading your videos from. The button to the right opens a long list of countries and the codes for them.

Cancel: Closes this window, nothing more.

Get categories: checks the length of country and language code and if it is exactly two characters the details are sent to Youtube. If you have not given the program permission to access your Youtube channel you will be asked to do so before the request to Youtube is sent. If everything is ok the window will close then the categories has been returned. If Youtube returns that the country or language code is invalid a dialog is displayed to tell this and you can double-check the codes and retry.
