In the settings window you can find helpful links and configure some of the features in the program. Here you can:
-
Change the language of the program, currently there is support for Swedish and English. Users can contribute with translations to other languages. Open an issue and tell what language you want to help adding for more information about how.
-
Meta Data Tool was added in version 1.3 together with the $(metadata) tag that allows you to use metadata from video files in presets. This tool allows you to select a video file and get a list of all meta data found in it. Read more: Meta Data Tool Window
-
The updater settings (added in version 1.4) allows you to turn automatic checks for updates on and off and configure if the program should be automatically updating in the background (silent updates) or if you want to confirm before updating. You can manually check for updates with the check for updates now button. In that case the updater settings are ignored, there will be a check for updates and you will be asked for confirmation if an update is found.

Find links to the wiki start page, the releases page, start page and issue tracker (all here on GitHub) as well as to the very important document no one reads, the privacy policy (hosted on my personal site stekeblad.se because the site it is on must be verified to be mine with Google according to their policy for programs ineracting with YouTube)

An option to clear stored data: When this dangerous button with red text is clicked, a warning dialog with three options opens. If you clicked it by misstake you can safetly cancel with the cancel button and nothing will be deleted. The other two buttons, "delete" and "log out and delete", do you need to be more carefull with. Clicking log out and delete will first send a request to YouTube to request a revocation of the programs permission to access your channel, if it for some reason failed the program asks if you want to open the Google permissions page in your browser and try from there. Secondly, the delete part, is the same as for the delete button. It schedules to delete all files and settings related to Stekeblads Video Uploader when all program windows has been closed. You can not cancel or undo this, however you can create a copy of the "VideoUploader data" directory before closing the program to save the files from being permanently deleted.

Before version 1.4 the log out option was not built into the program and the user was directed to do it from the Google account permissions page.
