Entering Speed

Two different formats for entering aircraft velocities are supported:

Calibrated Airspeed

The standard for interpreting aircraft velocities is the calibrated airspeed, expressed in [knots].

Mach number

The entered velocity will be interpreted as a Mach number when a number smaller than 1.0 is entered, or when the number is preceded by the letter "M".
