Thank you for trying! If you say this really works, then I am ok with merging it. Can you provide more information about what happens now, whether it is actually fixed or is just a hack that only works sometimes, and other info that comes to your mind?

Btw, I think none of us team members is able to reproduce #7262, so we can't really test this or try to provide alternative solutions. The emulators work just fine.

According to user reports, the issue seems to have been fixed with #8170. That's why I am closing this "try-test" PR.

Anyway, thank you @privacyonly for your researches and the time you spent on this issue :)
