Meter behaviour

The amount and type of data from the meter varies from country to country. Here is a list of known behaviour.

Norway

There are three meter types used in Norway: Aidon, Kaifa and Kamstrup. Although the structure of the data differs between them, they have a common set of sensors they report on given intervals which have been defined by NVE.

List 1

Sent every 2.5s.

  • Active import (1.7.0) (Not reported by Kamstrup)

List 2

Sent every 10s, and in addition to content of list 1 it has the following:

  • Active export (2.7.0)
  • Reactive import (3.7.0)
  • Reactive export (4.7.0)
  • L1 current (31.7.0)
  • L2 current (51.7.0)
  • L3 current (71.7.0)
  • L1 voltage (32.7.0)
  • L2 voltage (52.7.0)
  • L3 voltage (72.7.0)
  • List ID (0.2.129)
  • Meter ID (96.1.0)
  • Meter model (96.1.1)

List 3

Sent every hour, and in addition to content of list 2 it has the following:

  • Accumulated active import (1.8.0)
  • Accumulated active export (2.8.0)
  • Accumulated reactive import (3.8.0)
  • Accumulated reactive export (4.8.0)
  • Meter timestamp (1.0.0)

Denmark

Only known meter in Denmark is Kamstrup. It sends data every 10s with the following:

  • List ID (0.2.129)
  • Accumulated active import (1.8.0)
  • Accumulated active export (2.8.0)
  • Accumulated reactive import (3.8.0)
  • Accumulated reactive export (4.8.0)
  • Meter ID 1 (0.0.1)
  • Active import (1.7.0)
  • Active export (2.7.0)
  • Reactive import (3.7.0)
  • Reactive export (4.7.0)
  • Meter timestamp (1.0.0)
  • L1 voltage (32.7.0)
  • L2 voltage (52.7.0)
  • L3 voltage (72.7.0)
  • L1 current (31.7.0)
  • L2 current (51.7.0)
  • L3 current (71.7.0)
  • L1 active import (21.7.0)
  • L2 active import (41.7.0)
  • L2 active import (61.7.0)

  • L2 accumulated import (41.8.0)
  • L3 accumulated import (61.8.0)

Meters in Denmark are mostly encrypted. A GPK60/61 key pair needs to be obtained from grid company in configured in Meter configuration
