Description:
Selecting Refresh right after creating a new file using context menu breaks New File and New Folder in context menu

Repro using Brackets Sprint 26 on Win 7 & Mac 10.7.

Repro steps:

  1. Right-click in the project tree and select New File.
  2. While the new file still has the blue highlight around the name, right-click and select Refresh.

Actual results:
The new file is not created. If you try to right-click in the project tree and select New File again, nothing happens. Same with New Folder.

Expected results:
The new file is created and New File and New Folder context menu options still work.

Workaround:

  • Don't select Refresh while file has blue highlight.
  • Quit Brackets and restart it.

I set this to needs review since it seems to break important functionality.
