Execution plan:

  • Uses in core → airflow.serialization.serialized_objects.SerializedDAG
  • Uses anywhere else → Likely airflow.sdk.DAG (especially in tests) but case by case
  • Remove SerializedDAG inheritance to airflow.models.DAG
  • Remove airflow.models.DAG altogether
