Well, that report was mine, but figured out it could be more useful for you
guys to be on GitHub than on that forum.
Tomorrow I will try the suggestion and tell you about.

Ok @fmarier Tried with your suggestiong, running brave with LANG=C and... no luck at all. Indeed, i tried with a fresh install. But nothing, nada. |

Yes, it is.
I tried to install the native package of brave and works.
Then, I tried lefting only the brave package with fonts-liberation and yet
squares.
Then, in a wild trial tried to copy the fonts inside snap and no luck it
seems. Or they are getting ignored.
What I'm 100% certain is that liberation fonts are not inside snap.

@JustDevZero want to try now with the latest snap? @justnom made some fixes which went out in 1.18.70. |

Description
I just upgraded my system from Fedora 32 to 33 and Brave seems to have fonts broken in download form.
Any other browser it appears to be just fine.
Brave is installed trough snap:
brave 1.17.75 88 latest/stable brave -
Any ideas how to solve it?

Any time i try to download/upload somethong

If left the edge package with ironically is previous version works.

I tried to enable logging to stderr but i just get:
