Extension whitelisting process

Brave displays a warning for extensions that have not been verified by Brave.

Brave Developers have reviewed a list of extensions which are safe to use. This list of extensions is available here: https://github.com/brave/extension-whitelist/blob/master/data/whitelist.json

To get an extension added to the list, please follow the following process:

1. Create an issue asking for consideration to add to the extension whitelist
2. Security team will go through, as time allows
3. If approved, extension whitelist is updated.
