Installation

Stephen Vickers edited this page Jun 16, 2023 · 1 revision

The module is installed in the same way as other WordPress modules involving steps:

  1. Set up a LearnDash installation of WordPress.
  2. Add the dependent plugins.
  3. Install the plugin.

Dependent plugins

Before installing this plugin, its dependencies should be installed. The easiest way of doing this is by installing and activating the following plugins from the WordPress plugin repository:

  • LTI Tool
  • ceLTIc LTI Library

See the installation documentation of the LTI Tool plugin for more details and other options.

A SameSite Cookie plugin is strongly recommended for use with this plugin to minimise issues arising from browser security settings for third-party cookies, especially when LTI 1.3 is being used.

Install plugin

This plugin is available from the WordPress plugin repository and so can be installed as follows:

  1. Navigate to the Plugins page of the Administrator dashboard.
  2. Click on the Add New button.
  3. Enter LTI Connector for LearnDash as the Keyword.
  4. Click on the Install Now button for the LTI Connector for LearnDash plugin.
  5. Select the Activate option on the Plugins page to enable the module.

Removing the plugin

To completely remove the plugin from the WordPress installation use the Deactivate option on the Plugins page in the Admin Dashboard, and then select the Delete option for the plugin. See the documentation for the LTI Tool plugin for details of how to remove the dependent plugins.
