Route Window
The route window shows the waypoints in the current route and allows you to add information to waypoints.
The route window can be opened by:
- Pressing Ctrl-R
- Selecting Windows->Route on the viewer toolbar
Only one route window can be opened at a time. Attempting to open a new route window when one is already open will take you to the active route window.
Clicking the coloured square in the top left of the route window will allow you to choose the route colour. This colour will be used for all waypoints and the route lines in the viewer.
Clicking the 'Import' button will open a dialog where you can select a route file to import. When you import a route the current route is lost and replaced with the imported one.
Clicking the 'Export' button will open a dialog where you can choose where to export the route file. This will export all waypoints, notes, route settings and attached saves to a single file.
The waypoints list displays the waypoints in the current route. Clicking on a waypoint will select the waypoint in the viewer and display the details of the waypoint in the right panel. A waypoint can be one of several types:
- Position - a point on the map
- Entity - a specific entity in the world
- Trigger - a trigger in the world
Entity and trigger types will display the specific item or trigger type name if possible.
When a waypoint is selected either in the viewer or in the waypoints list the details of the waypoint are shown here. The waypoint type, position and information about the entity/trigger are shown here. Clicking on the entries in the waypoint details area will select the target entity or trigger.
A save file can be attached to each waypoint in a route. To attach a file, click the 'Attach Save' button. This will open a dialog where you can select the save file to attach. If there is already a save attached, clicking SAVEGAME.0 will open a dialog where you can export the save file to your game directory. To clear the attached save file, click the 'X' button to the right.
Clicking this button or pressing the delete key will remove the selected waypoint from the route.
This text area can be used to add useful notes to each waypoint.
