They would be looked up as users within LUF
Prefeching of users is delegated to the LDAPUserFolder. enumerateGroups consults the prefetch cache for lookups of individual groups (negative and positive). The prefetch cache is filled by explicit prefetch calls as well as enumerateGroups searches.
