Python Nightly failure is unrelated, and is a numpy <-> CPython problem. |

Do you want to make Python nightly an allowed failure on Travis while we're at it? I believe we've done that with several other Jupyter projects. If only that fails, it marks the build as passing, but you can still see the details if you go to Travis and check. |

Fixes error when giving configuration warnings with pytest >= 3.1 (still compatible with older versions). Fixes CI problem in #64.
