Disable ability to edit locked environments #203
Comments
+1 for this, I do have one concern though. Currently the only way to view the source yaml for an env is in the Edit view. Would like to add some way to view the yaml (maybe similar standard/yaml toggle in the View mode?) before we shut folks out of Edit. Accessing the yaml allows for copy/pasting one env to use as a base for another env. |
@jonzeper Great point! I agree completely. I think adding the yaml toggle to the View mode would solve that and also, I felt like I needed it in other situations too - Having to go through "Edit" mode seemed unnecessary. |
Created #213 for the yaml toggle |
For environments I dont have permission to edit, I should still be able
View
the environment details, but theEdit
button should be disabled.Currently, if I click on an environment I don't have permission to edit, all the dialog boxes just have spinning circles as if its loading, but nothing ever loads. User gets no feedback on what's happening.
