There is/will always be a goal for each season of @dwyl's life, see #40 and dwyl/hq#149 for example. But there needs to be an over-arching goal, the mission that underpins everything we do.

@nelsonic and I have talked about both types of goals to many people, but we're also very aware that we need to write them down and make them public, as we do with everything else!

We will need to iterate over them ourselves, but for me, the goal is this:

Help people understand that they can sustain themselves and help them achieve this, particularly those who have had fewer opportunities in life.

The wording for this is still evolving in my head and we're not quite there yet!

But this is broad and wide-ranging, what does this mean in practice?

The idea of an overall goal or guiding mission in my view is that it sets the tone for the whole organisation. It's then split out into smaller goals which in themselves are measurable.

So what does this encompass? A huge amount of things:

The goal was updated in #50 (worth reading the thread of comments...)
Closing as it's captured in the README.md. ✅
