Tilemap geo Bounding box filter not working properly with discover searches

Description of the problem including expected versus actual behavior:
Strange behavior while using geo bounding box filter on the tile map. I am trying to filter individual records that fall within a geo bounding box. I have included these records by saving a "Search" from the "Discover" tab, and opening it in the dashboard.
The strange behavior I see is that with a regular bounding box filter I see "No results found" in the Search widget, while an inverted bounding box filter would works as expected. I have included screenshots as follows: 1) no geo bounding box filter, 2) regular bounding box filter, and 3) inverted bounding box filter.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Insert some records containing a geo point field.
2. Create any tilemap visualization on the geo point field (e.g. count of records).
3. Create a search on all data (no filters) on the data in the discover tab.
4. Create a dashboard and add both search and tilemap viz to the dashboard.
5. Create a geo bounding box on the map that includes some highlighted boxes on the map.

Are you sure your saved search isn't filtering out all the results inside that bounding box? It's working ok for me, but this is in 4.6.0 not 4.5.1 specifically:

What happens if you pin the bounding box filter and then click the "Edit" (pencil) icon in the top right corner of the saved search box? This should take you to the Discover tab so you can interactively play with the results with the bounding box filter active.

I now tried the same setup with ES 2.4.0 and Kibana 4.6.0 and the geo bounding box works normally, and without issues. Looks like this issue is resolved in later releases of Kibana/ES. Hence, I'm closing this issue.
