I will be giving a talk at EthCC on March 5 on testing and simulations. I will contact implementers to get their status on those topics and if I can already play with their implementation, you can ping me on #sharding as well if you have suggestions or just to tell me that your simulation is working.

Can we have a discussion on what serialization to use for the discovery layer? @FrankSzendzierlarz has brought this up in an issue in the p2p repo. RLP seems to be better at the discovery protocol instead of SSZ.

I know this discussion has been had in several forms before but we don't want to repeat some of the same mistakes as in ETH1.0.

Maybe as an agenda item for today but I/we are starting to have some difficulty tracking the different threads around p2p. Can I propose this issue: ethereum/devp2p#59 .
