Hello,

We'd like someone to take notes on the all core devs call this Friday (#66). The call is typically 60-90 minutes. See sample notes from previous calls listed here. These notes are important and extremely helpful for later review, since the all core devs process is central to Ethereum governance.

You should attempt to transcribe as much of the content of the meeting as faithfully as you can. You should also record the list of meeting attendees. The meeting will be recorded, so you can refer back to the recording to finish the notes as necessary.

Notes should be posted as a PR on this repository, and are open for anyone to contribute to. Preliminary notes should be posted within 24 hours after the end of the meeting. Final notes with links to relevant documents, issues, and repositories, cross-referenced against the recording video with timed links, should be posted within a week after the end of the meeting.

Please do not hesitate to let me know if anything is unclear!

Thanks :)

Lane

Work has been started.

These users each claimed they can complete the work by 1 month, 4 weeks ago.
Please review their action plans below:

1) mehranhydary has applied to start work (Funders only: approve worker | reject worker).

Action Plan:

  1. Join the call
  2. Listen intently on the call
  3. Record the call
  4. Take initial notes while listening in the call
  5. Review the recorded call to update the notes as needed
  6. Update the rough draft of minutes to align to desired format

To ensure that I can properly align this to the desired format I will keep track of what is being discussed and who is the speaker at all times.

2) cpstl has applied to start work (Funders only: approve worker | reject worker).

I would be extremely happy to take the notes for the next all core devs call on Friday. I am up to date with the progress of Ethereum and would follow the format of the past core calls. As I've said before, I'm happy to contribute to Ethereum in any way possible and this seems like a good start!

3) jonas-kgomo has applied to start work (Funders only: approve worker | reject worker).

I will join the live Core Devs Call and be aware of the contributions from different speakers.
I will take minutes of the meeting.

4) pggallagher has applied to start work (Funders only: approve worker | reject worker).

Have been doing the write-ups for the Eth2.0 Implementers Calls the past couple of months, and I enjoy writing them very much. https://github.com/ethereum/eth2.0-pm

With little to no technical background, (I am an accountant at one of the Big4) I consider it an honor to do the write-ups and enjoy helping out any way I can. I asked Danny if I could do the ETH2.0 notes back a couple of months ago because I saw it as an opportunity to help out, but also a chance to learn more myself. And I write these notes not only for the developers, but for others out there like myself who are interested in learning more.
I would consider it an honor to help out with the All Core Devs Call notes as well.

Thanks,
pete

5) annavladi has been approved to start work.

@annavladi Just approved you! @pggallagher if you'd like to take some notes as well / review the notes I'd be happy to give you a tip given the work you've done with Danny on the ETH2.0 calls.
