UI issues with search input/results [responsive mode] #988

To Reproduce

  1. Go to any page on the docusaurus website
  2. Resize screen < 1024px
  3. Type anything in the search bar

Expected behavior

Search results with a good UX.

Actual Behavior

Issues when you type anything in the search bar, as follows:

  • Search icon disappears
  • Search input and the results' width changes, making it difficult to see while typing
  • Results are clipped in smaller screens (same as Search is clipped on mobile  #385 )
