If you ask it to run time.getCurrentTime does it return the correct time?

Root Cause Analysis

The getCurrentDate and getCurrentTime functions in TimeService.ts were using new Date().toISOString() to format the time. The toISOString() method always returns UTC time (indicated by the 'Z' suffix), which is why the time displayed was 7 hours behind Vietnam local time (UTC+7).

Interestingly, the getTimeZone function correctly returned the local timezone (Asia/Saigon), but the date/time functions were not using it.

Fix in PR #52

We've updated both functions to return both UTC and local time:

This approach:

• Preserves UTC values for calendar API integrations (which expect ISO 8601 format)
• Provides local time values for user-facing responses
• Includes timezone context so the model knows what it's working with
