This is mostly to track the issue I opened against Status Wallet repo: status-im/status-mobile#12097

One work around we can do is to fallback to eth_sign like we are doing with TrustWallet (#576).

But I'd rather have v4 working.

On the same note, I also opened a feature request to improve the sign message data display status-im/status-mobile#12098 which is worse than TrustWallet (#593), since it displays the data raw like Trust, but in a tiny modal.
