Class Request Statuses

The status of a request dictates its placement on the staff Dashboard. It is not necessary to apply a status to class requests, with the exception of "Closed," as auto-routing rules are in place.

Request Statuses:

Status: Scheduled, unclaimed

This is the status for a class which has been given a scheduled date and time, but for which a staff member has not yet been assigned or claimed responsibility for the class. These classes appear in the Classes to Claim section of the Dashboard. Staff may assign themselves to the class by opening the class request, selecting "Edit," and choosing themselves in the Staff Assignment section of the request form.

Status: Scheduled, claimed

This is the status for a class which has been given a scheduled date and time and for which a staff member has been assigned or claimed responsibility. Classes with this status will display on the affiliated staff member/s' dashboard under the My Classes tab.

Status: Claimed, unscheduled

This is the status for a class which has been taken or assigned but for which an acceptable date/time has not yet been determined. Classes with this status will display on the affiliated staff member/s' dashboard under the My Classes tab.

Status: Homeless

This is the status for a class which does not yet have a repository host. These file under Homeless Classes on the Dashboard.

Status: Closed

This is the status for a class which has been completed. Closed classes file under "My Closed Classes" in the Completed Classes tab of the Dashboard. This status must be applied manually from the class details page. A yellow staff action box presents the opportunity to enter a session and/or section headcount, and choose whether or not to send an assessment to the class requester/s.
