The rifle
In addition to dropping normal pistol/chaingun ammo, marines can also sometimes drop the rifle that they use, as a player usable weapon. The rifle can also be placed down on maps directly.
The rifle behaves more or less like it does when wielded by marine NPCs, it is however a bit more accurate on average when wielded by you. It fires the same bullet projectiles as the marines, however, you only fire it in full auto. You also need to reload it after every 30 shots like marines do (Or you can also reload it half empty by pressing the reload button). When reloading, it will also drop used magazines like marines do.

In addition, you can also zoom in for x2 more accuracy by pressing the binded zoom key (The dedicated ZDoom action key, NOT the alt fire). You can also crouch to fire for even more accuracy, these accuracy buffs work independently of each other and can stack, so for example, you can fire while crouched but not zoomed in for x2 accuracy, or both crouch AND zoom in for x4 accuracy.
