Resolves:

Changes:

  • Move perf-dash.k8s.io directory under the apps/perfdash path.
  • Add deploy.sh with some "custom" updates to apply the external yaml (based on existing README notes)
  • Update various README notes
  • Add app: label as needed

Notes:

  • Looking for feedback - should we drop the FQDN format (perf-dash.k8s.io) of the directory name to make it match the app: name (perfdash)?

Hi @jimdaga. Thanks for your PR.

I'm waiting for a kubernetes member to verify that this patch is reasonable to test. If it is, they should reply with /ok-to-test on its own line. Until that is done, I will not automatically test new commits in this PR, but the usual testing commands by org members will still work. Regular contributors should join the org to skip this step.

Once the patch is verified, the new status will be reflected by the ok-to-test label.

I understand the commands that are listed here.

Instructions for interacting with me using PR comments are available here. If you have questions or suggestions related to my behavior, please file an issue against the kubernetes/test-infra repository.

Uh, TIL this is how it's always been for this app, so I won't blow your PR's scope. But these files should live here (I was thinking in the direction of a postsubmit job that could run the relevant deploy.sh if any app's files changed). Not a fan of deploy scripts that will deploy something different depending on the time of day they're run.
