The error happens because the backend expects the mode field in AppListQuery to be one of: "completion", "chat", "advanced-chat", "workflow", "agent-chat", "channel", or "all". The Marketplace UI is sending "discover", which isn't accepted by the backend, so Pydantic throws a validation error when you move from Marketplace to Studio. This is a frontend/backend mismatch—"discover" isn't a valid value in the backend schema, so the request fails validation when it hits the /apps endpoint. You can see the allowed values in the code here:

As a workaround, you can manually change the mode query parameter in the URL to one of the supported values (like "all" or "chat") after the redirect, or patch the frontend to avoid sending "discover". If you want a more permanent fix, you could update the backend to accept "discover" as an alias for "all", or update the Marketplace UI to use a supported value. No official fix or documentation for this specific issue exists yet.
