I have recently added the ability for instructors to add alternate sending email addresses. An alternate email is course based so multiple instructors can make use of it (like an email group or whatever).
There's a verification process, though. It makes sure the entered alternate email address is valid by sending an email to the entered email with a link (containing said user private key on the script). Once a user with the appropriate permission clicks on the link, it can be used by all users carrying the
allowalternate
capability. The alternate email address is saved in drafts and the history.Pretty breathy description.
It's ready for testing.
