This is not an "internal change" and I think it deserves a place in the changelog. I've relabelled it accordingly. Please don't just label everything as "T-Task".
On which note: I've also updated the title of the PR to better reflect what it's doing. Disabling encryption across the whole app would be quite a different thing! In general, please take the time to ensure your PR titles are accurate.

We want an option to disable the call encryption while it is not supported on all platforms and for specific experiments/demos. This is a very easy way to make this configurable for the ones working on/with it and allows to simplify some experiments.
