- To promote and encourage technical, scientific, creative and artistic skills through collaboration and education in Newbury and the surrounding areas.
- The Hackspace was created to promote and encourage technical, scientific, creative and artistic skills through collaboration and education in Newbury, Thatcham and the surrounding areas.
- We make, craft, mend, re-purpose, create, share, teach, learn in a community workshop with amazing equipment, such as laser cutter, 3d printer, soldering stations, electronics kits, drills, saws and a lathe.
- Members are able to access the space at any time.
- We are not currently open to visitors and guests. Our weekly open evening is every Thursday evening from 7pm to 9pm.
- We are however still open to members to use the space for their own projects who are not showing symptoms and have not been in contact with infected people.
- We ask that handwashing and wiping tools and equipment handles with the wipes provided be done after use.
