Community Sensor Model (CSM)

The Community Sensor Model (CSM) plugin can be used to geolocate and mensurate SICD and SIDD data in a CSM-compliant application. All versions of SICD and SIDD are supported; note that the file must be completely valid, including that the XML must validate against the schema, in order for the file to be loaded.

The CSM SICD/SIDD plugin is compliant with CSM 3.0.1 and supports both PFA and Range-Zero SICD formulations. It is released open-source as part of the SIX library. New versions are integrated into MSP as they perform releases roughly every six months. Their April 2015 release of MSP 1.5 contained version 1.1.1 of the SICD/SIDD plugin which supports error propagation.

Note that Socet GXP 4.1 uses an older version of MSP which did not contain the SICD/SIDD CSM plugin. GXP 4.2 (currently slated for 1Q 2016) is expected to contain the latest MSP release and so will support accurate geolocation of SICDs and SIDDs.
