v4.1.x

• Schedule: Shooting for v4.1.3 end of March/Q1.
  • Cut 4.1.3rc in next 0 to 2 days.
  • Release v4.1.3 on Friday.
• Upcoming v4.1.4
  • coll_ucc will be set to lowest priority
  • Aiming for about a month for v4.1.4
  • Possible to bring UCC component back to v4.1.4 series?
  • Yes, stable, stand alone, low risk, etc.

v5.0.x

• Schedule: Still shootin for April
  • Trying to do an v5.0.0rc4 soon.
    • awlauria will cherry-pick rest of sessions PRs to Howard's branch
    • Bottom of PR 9097, show bugs that also need to come in v
  • Need a pmix/prrte submodule pointer update.
    • awlauria was able to get a workaround into PRRTE to fix MCA ENV hi
• Renewed interest in not breaking ABI/API/CLI backwards compatibility for 'C'
  • We did break ABI for Fortran bindings, but this was deemed acceptable.
  • Nothing new to discuss

Main branch

• Jeff sent out to devel useful git-ology
• Transitioned master -> main
  • SLURM is still broken on main.
  • PR 10065 fixes SLURM on master to advance the prrte hash
• Howard posted a spac update
• Delete master in your fork.
• If you have not updated MTT config, must update to use main instead.
  • Starting Friday, will stair failing.
• Git has a feature to rename a branch.

MTT

• IBM asked nVidia if they would take over PGI compiler build/testing.
  • nVidia is looking into it.

Face-to-face
