OPX commands

Amy Buck edited this page Dec 21, 2018 · 26 revisions

OPX utilities are a set of Linux command-line tools that use the CPS API to perform various configuration system actions. These utilities, which are prefaced by opx-config and opx-show, were introduced in OPX 3.1.0 and are maintained and supported by OPX developers going forward.

Previous OPX utility support for cps_config_vlan.py and cps_config_lag.py are deprecated and replaced with opx-config-vlan and opx-config-lag.

The source code for the OPX utilities are kept in the opx-tools repo, with the exception of opx-config-fanout. Documentation for the utilities can be found in man pages that are installed by the opx-tools Debian package.
