The package is now deprecated and pulls in "ioredis": "*" as a dependency. Closing this as we don't want to pull the instrumented library in with the instrumentation library. We may need to consider fully removing @types/ioreids as a dependency from this package. In the meantime, I opened a PR to move it to devDependencies as it's not part of the public API of the package #2069
