Description

Cleans up and adds missing changelog items before the upcoming v8.0.0 release. See detailed commits:

Types of changes

  • Bug fix (non-breaking change which fixes an issue)
  • New feature (non-breaking change which adds functionality)
  • Breaking change (fix or feature that would cause existing functionality to change)
  • Technical debt
  • Tests

Accumulates all embed mode changelog items into one single item. The embed mode is something completely new in the upcoming release, so from an end-user perspective it makes sense to have one single changelog item explaining what it is and does.
