I frequently open closed tabs (when doing that by mistake), and many times (can't say always) the navigation history gets lost.
I'm not 100% sure it's Vimium's fault, but I don't remember this happening previous to using it.

This has never worked historically, but the API we needed just landed in Chrome 37.

I have submitted PR #1166 to enable access to the API, when it is merged tab restoration should work correctly on Chrome 37+.
