Update: I just released a new package to public GitHub: https://github.com/wlandau/proffer. The functions are just thin layers around profile and pprof, but these wrappers have helped me so much over the last 12 months that I decided to package them up. I also felt the need to have them exist outside of jointprof because I do a lot of profiling on Windows. Should we close this one?
