Synchrotron Radiation Workshop (SRW)
SRW ("Synchrotron Radiation Workshop") is a physical optics software package developed by Oleg Chubar at Brookhaven National Laboratory (BNL). It's application is primarily for the calculation of detailed characteristics of Synchrotron Radiation (SR) generated by relativistic electrons in magnetic fields of arbitrary configuration and for simulation of the radiation wavefront propagation through optical systems of beamlines. SRW is applicable for fully- and partially-coherent radiation propagation simulations, both in steady-state and frequency-/time-dependent regimes. SRW is often sued for analysis of spectral performances of synchrotron radiation sources, optimization of beamlines, development of optical elements, and source and beamline diagnostics.
