The firmware archive for Roborock vacuums is available at vacuumz.info maintained by swappers from 4pda.ru conference.

Modded firmware

Modified versions of firmware are located in root directories for corresponding generation of the device, i.e. gen1 for v1 and gen2 for S50/55.

Notable changes:

• Shows general device information (IP, DID, current, token, FW version etc) on SSH connect;
• Users cleaner and root have preset password cleaner;
• Pre-installed packages: wget, nano, htop, bbe, snmpd and Valetudo v0.2.3 (sorry);
• adbd replaced with full-featured one;
• Level of system logging is lowered;
• Firmware files with "2prc" in their names can make EU device to be recognized as PRC, "2eu" - vice-versa;
• Automatic firmware updates and checking for regional locks are disabled.

Rooted firmware

Rooted versions of firmware are located in stock_root/ sub-directory for corresponding generation of the device, i.e. gen1 for v1 and gen2 for S50/55.

It contains no modifications except for pre-set password cleaner to login via SSH and disabled firewall filtering for incoming connections to port 22.

Stock firmware

Origin versions of firmware are located in stock/ sub-directory for corresponding generation of the device, i.e. gen1 for v1 and gen2 for S50/55.

Xiaomi CDN

If you don't trust the vacuums FW archive site but trust Xiaomi, you can download the firmware directly from its CDN.

Use the following URLs:

• https://cdn.awsde0.fds.api.mi-img.com/rubys/updpkg/ + <firmware filename> - for gen2.
