Add new method `cugraph_degrees` to the C API to compute and return the degrees of vertices. Describe the bug.
This bug was discovered while looking at the failing test:
test_degree_centrality_mg.py
.This test compares the result of running
degree()
,in_degree()
, andout_degree()
on a SG graph and MG graph, both created using the same dataset. The expected behavior is that both functions return identical values, aka, same # of edges pointing to each vertex.However, when creating an undirected graph using a symmetric dataset (eg
polbooks.csv
), the MG graph will return degree values that are double the amount compared to the SG graph.Minimum reproducible example

Other/Misc.
This bug was not caught in CI because
test_degree_centrality_mg.py
was being skipped on SG machines.Code of Conduct
