Update Issue and PR templates with v1-rc status #4155

Copy for new Issues and PRs. Purpose:

  • general status update
  • set expectations
  • communicate needs
  • encourage next steps; this is not meant to be a blocker

The Redwood v1 release candidate has been published, and we're actively working toward a 1.0.0 GA. 🎯

Setting the right expectations is great, and I think you do that perfectly. But I do think we can be (even) more open for new issues/PRs.

Personally I think we could replace the entire second paragraphs with something like this:

New Issues and PRs are always welcome and helpful! 😀 We will look at them and prioritize as needed. If you need help faster than what we can provide here, you can try to reach out to the community chat or forums:
