Sorry, we cannot merge this (conflicts).

Please read my comment in #223:

  1. You need to rename your vi-translation branch
  2. Then pull in the remote changes and checkout the vi-translation branch, tracking it locally
  3. Checkout vi-translation and create a feature branch from there
  4. Start with one small chunk, e.g. _config.yml and/or vi/index.html

BTW, do not change anything in root besides _config.yml (meaninng footer, /index.html)

Also, again, before we can start this new translation, we absolutely need a team of contributors showing up here.

@stomar at the moment only three people knows how to use GitHub, most of them are newbies to Ruby and Git. So I'm in charge of merging their work. I'll get them to send do some work then commit under their names and cherry-pick into the branch. I know you stress on working as a team but you are not helping here. I hope you understand for my situation. Things might be trivial with other countries might be a big hurdle for Vietnamese developers. All they have is a passion for this community. I am going to split the work into many small commits as you requested.

I really appreciate your effort, and would be glad about a funtioning Vietnamese site, but you need to understand:

  1. Starting a translation with only one contributor is a no-go for me. If you loose interest in 3 months (which I do not hope) we are left with another abandoned translation and a lot of work for nothing.
  2. Since nobody here speaks Vietnamese, we do need someone who does proofreading and confirms the PRs to us.

Your coworkers could simply start with commenting on the PRs and learn along the way how to open their own PRs later.
