  • Battery charged
  • Camera image is sharp
  • Polarization filter is in the right position
  • Lane detector calibration
  • Space available on memory card
  • Sensors are calibrated
  • Remote control is charged
  • Correct code is uploaded to arduino
  • Correct/latest version of code is compiled
  • Look for any hanging/loose wires
  • Look for any mechanical faults

Common errors

  • CID/ 2 cars at same network
  • Serial.print() in arduino
  • Semaphore errors overlooked by script
