GoodWatch10

Travis Goodspeed edited this page Dec 13, 2017 · 5 revisions

The GoodWatch10 is our first design revision, built to test the keypad and LCD but without a functional radio. It is stable enough to wear daily, featuring a hex editor and disassembler in addition to the usual features.

Assembly

This image shows two GoodWatch10 devices, viewing the clock control register in the integrated hex editor. The black watch has a fault in the 32.768kHz crystal, which was later repaired with soldering.

Holding 4 in the hex editor will disassemble the current word.

Assembly

This is a GoodWatch10 board being assembled, starting with the CC430.

The board on the left is a fully assembled GoodWatch10.
