Importing ships for Ship Switcher from KC3

Prerequisites

A browser that supports the KC3 extension. For example : Google Chrome, Chromium or Opera

Install KC3

KC3 is a Game Viewer for Kantai Collection, installed as a browser extension. You can get it here

When the installation is complete, open Kancolle via KC3 in order for KC3 to retrieve and store your ship information.

Instructions

1. Open the strategy room by clicking on the KC3 icon on the top right. Strategy Room is the second option from the top.

   

2. Under Ships, select Ship List. You will be presented with a list of ships you own.

3. Make sure that no ships are filtered. If you are unsure, please refer to the Option & Filter section. Alternately, you can press on the Reset All button highlighted in blue.

   

4. Right click anywhere on the page and select the Save as... option to save the page as a HTML file. Save it to a location you will remember for further usage.

Importing the KC3 Shiplist to KAGA

1. Start by booting up KAGA, then select the ShipSwitcher Tab. Let's use Sparkling as an example for this tutorial

   Press on the empty dropdown to reveal the list of functionality provided. Once a function is selected, the configure button will be enabled. Click on it.

   

2. A new window will appear, with 5 buttons available for pressing.

   Select the KC3 import button.

   

   Another window would open up, this time by your operating system. Navigate to where your KC3 file is stored and select it from there. The file should look like this:

   

3. Please wait a few seconds for the Ship List to be loaded into Kaga.

4. Select a few ships that you wish to sparkle via ticking the checkbox on the right of the ship name, under the Enable Tab. Once you are done selecting, press the Save button located next to the undo button, positioned at the top left corner.

   

5. You will be returned to an earlier window, which shows you the ships that are selected, based on their position from the last page of your ship. Example: P:N:E:1 would be the last ship on the last page of your ship tab when sorted by NEW.

   If you have a ship you would like to remove from sparkling, select the ship you wish to remove, then bin icon highlighted in blue. Otherwise, press the save button to save the configuration. Please do not exit the window via the top right side as the changes to the script will not be saved.

   

6. The script is now updated;the ships selected will be sent for sparkling when the start button is pressed and once sparkled, another ship will be swapped into slot 1 for sparkling.
