Setting up KAGA for the first time
As KAGA relies on KCA-Kai to function, we are assuming that you, the user would already have:
-
KCA-Kai functioning in CLI (obligatory, but it is best to see if the script would be working without KAGA first)
-
Sikuli.jar that is obtained after the installation of Sikuli.
-
Java JRE 8 installed
-
KAGA downloaded
If you have any of them missing, please download them from these respective links and follow the instructions as stated:
Redownload Sikuli (Get the sikulix.jar file)
Now that we have everything necessary downloaded and installed, it is time to setup KAGA so that it can be used. Start by noting where did you download and install the files, as you will need them to setup KAGA.
-
Open KAGA. You should be greeted with an initial setup window.
-
Press the
Choose File
button. For the first box, You will need to find thesikuli.jar
file. It should be located at where you installed the sikuli file you downloaded beforehand. -
Now that you have selected the right sikuli file, press the second choose file button to select the KCA-kai root folder.
-
A KCA-Kai root folder, essentially is the folder containing the KCA files. A good indicator would be that the folder that has the
kcauto-kai.sikuli
in it. If you see this, you are basically in the right directory, and all you need to do is press theSelect File
button highlighted in blue. -
Once you select the directories correctly, the errors will disappear and you can now save.
-
KAGA's initial setup is now completed! You can now setup your profiles for automation.
If you actually use unix you shouldn't have an issue setting up. However, if that edge case scenario ever happens, try to contact @waicool20 on the Discord Server
