After updating to Zowe Explorer v3.0.0, every time I start VSCode I am prompted:

No Zowe client configurations were detected. Click 'Create New' to create a new Zowe team configuration.

  • I do not have Zowe global-scope team config file or connections defined in my home/.zowe directory.
  • I have valid zowe profiles defined in a project-scope zowe.config.user.json.
  • Despite the prompt, the Zowe Explorer views (Datasets/USS/Jobs) continue to function correctly with my project-scope profiles.
  • Creating a global-scope team config file makes the prompt go away.

Expected behavior
No additional prompt should be shown if I choose not to have a global-scope team config, since I do have valid project-scope profiles.

  • OS: Windows 11
  • Zowe Explorer Version: v3.0.0
