fix: cycle_group validate_is_on_curve bug #4494

Fixes the validate_is_on_curve function in cycle_group. Previously this code would incorrectly succeed given a point that wasn't on a curve. It multiplied by a boolean is_point_at_infinity(), which for normal points, was false or 0, which set res to 0, thereby passing the following check that res was 0. If a point was marked as the point at infinity, then is_point_at_infinity() would be true or 1, and this would incorrect fail even though the point was the point at infinity.

The fix is simple - reverse when we multiply by 1 and when we multiply by 0. This will now correctly multiply by 0 when the point is marked as the point at infinity, and also correctly multiply by 1 when the point is not marked as infinity.

All benchmarks are run on txs on the Benchmarking contract on the repository. Each tx consists of a batch call to create_note and increment_balance, which guarantees that each tx has a private call, a nested private call, a public call, and a nested public call, as well as an emitted private note, an unencrypted log, and public storage read and write.

This benchmark source data is available in JSON format on S3 here.

Values are compared against data from master at commit ce51d206 and shown if the difference exceeds 1%.

I'd recommend doing the check_circuit, too. failed() doesn't check if constraints hold

Fixes the validate_is_on_curve function in cycle_group. Previously this
code would incorrectly succeed given a point that wasn't on a curve. It
multiplied by a boolean `is_point_at_infinity()`, which for normal
points, was false or 0, which set res to 0, thereby passing the
following check that res was 0. If a point was marked as the point at
infinity, then is_point_at_infinity() would be true or 1, and this would
incorrect fail even though the point was the point at infinity.

The fix is simple - reverse when we multiply by 1 and when we multiply
by 0. This will now correctly multiply by 0 when the point is marked as
the point at infinity, and also correctly multiply by 1 when the point
is not marked as infinity.
